Query: My mother passed away and during my findings I have records and wills of William Stuart Dowd, William Russell Dowd, Julia Philips Dowd, Heman Dowd I guess what I'm looking for is more information who above Heman Dowd is my tree and what have they done? Their son George Armstrong (my father) married Louise Williams (my mother) in CA, in 1944 This is all that I have on this line. As you can see, a lot is lacking. Someone posted information about William on the web, listing his wife as Phellinda M. Page (note spelling and middle initial) born in Russall, NY. (The e-mail link to the source of the information, Orrin Lampson / Mark Lampson, did not work). The listing named only one child, Ida Malinda Doud.
